ကဲ ဒီကနေ့မှာတော့ WSUS ရဲ့ Database အကြောင်းပြောပြပေးသွားမှာပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ WSUS ကို Implementation စလုပ်တော့မယ်ဆိုတာနဲ့ သူ့မှာပါဝင်တဲ့ Database အကြောင်းကိုတော့ ကျွန်တော်တို့ မေ့ထားလို့ မရပါဘူး။ WSUS မှာ အဓိကအားဖြင့် Database Type (2) မျိုးရှိပါတယ်။ Windows Instance Database (WID) နဲ့ Microsoft SQL Database တို့ပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ WSUS with WID ============= WID ကို Microsoft က Windows Server 2008 လောက်မှာ စပြီးတော့ introduced လုပ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ WSUS role ကို install လုပ်တဲ့အခါ အသုံးပြုမယ့် Database(WID) ကို ရွေးချယ်ပြီးရင် C:\Windows\WID\Data\SUSDB.mdf ဆိုတဲ့ Database File လေးရောက်လာပါလိမ့်မယ်။ ပုံ (၁) မှာကြည့်ပါ။ WID ကို အသုံးပြုမယ်ဆိုရင်တော့ Microsoft Update Server ဆီက Download ဆွဲလို့ရလာတဲ့ Update and Patch တွေကို Local Drive ထဲက မိမိနှစ်သက်တဲ့ Partition ထဲမှာ Folder လေးဆောက်ပြီးတော့ အလွယ်တကူ သိမ်းဆည်းလို့ရပါတယ်။ ပုံ (၂) မှာကြည့်ပါ။ WID ကို ဘယ်လိုအခြေအနေမျိုးမှာ အသုံးပြုသင့်သလဲ? ==================================== SQL Server မရှိတဲ့ အခြေအနေမျိုးမှာ၊ ဒါမှမဟုတ် License cost ကိုလျော့ချချင်တဲ့...
